More About From Provence with Love

When the Gilchrist sisters are left a cottage in Provence, France by an uncle they didn’t even know existed, Laura and Ellie fly over to put it up for sale. Ellie is fighting her own heartache—losing a child and a partner in such a short space of time is heartbreaking—and Laura feels a break in the sun may be the perfect tonic, even if it is for just a couple of days.

Laura is a workaholic who is closed to all emotions. She has her career, which she is extremely good at, and that is enough for her. She doesn’t want life to become complicated, and love would certainly do that. But that’s okay because she has already decided that it will never happen.

Not even when she walks into Noah’s office does she consider him a potential love interest; she just wants to sell a house. It was meant to be a flying visit to arrange for an estate agent to sell it on their behalf, but then Ellie decides to stay.

The little cottage needs work, not just inside but also outside, so Ellie offers to stay and renovate the property in the hope that her heart may repair itself as well. Laura, therefore, heads back to Scotland to continue her life as a top-performing estate agent.

But then Noah starts to text…

The text messages are harmless enough to begin with. They focus on the property and the local area, which could be a great selling point. Intrigued, Laura heads back for just one weekend to explore these places for herself – the nearby villages, the restaurants, and the lavender fields. Noah is her guide, and after checking in with Ellie, who has done a fantastic job with the cottage, she heads off to explore the area.

The relationship was meant to remain purely professional, but Laura let her guard down for some reason, and now she is smitten. There is just one problem: Noah has already told her he doesn’t want a serious relationship.

Will Noah be able to overcome his commitment issues, or has Laura’s heart been broken the one and only time she has opened up to someone?
